Pushpa-2 Review: Umair Sandhu's 4/5 Rating Flares Up Controversy
Umair Sandhu rates Pushpa-2 a solid 4/5, labelling it a blockbuster, but his review has ignited controversy. Fans are raising doubts about the credibility of his review due to his previous allegations of posting fake reviews.
Pushpa 2
The anticipation for Pushpa-2 is soaring in both Telugu states, with fans eagerly awaiting the sequel. The film’s premiere is set for December 4 at 9:30 PM, just a day before its official release. A detailed review has already emerged on 'X'. Although Pushpa-2 has not yet hit international screens, Umair Sandhu, who claims to be a member of the overseas censor board, shared what he calls the film's first detailed review on his 'X' account.
He lauded Allu Arjun’s performance, predicting he could secure another National Award, while also stating that the film centres around Fahadh Fazil, branding it a one-man show. Sandhu highlighted that the movie's climax will be a significant draw for audiences, labelling it a "paisa-vasul" entertainer and asserting it's unlike any other commercial film in Indian cinema. He rated the film 4/5 but critiqued Devi Sri Prasad’s music, noting it didn’t reach chart-topping status.
However, many netizens remain sceptical of Sandhu's review due to his history of presenting questionable reviews. They reference his prior endorsements of films like Acharya and Guntur Karam, which ultimately disappointed audiences. Doubts about the authenticity of his claim as an overseas censor board member persist. Despite this scepticism, Sandhu continues to share his reviews, prompting frustration among fans regarding his unverified assessments.
